Notes: Sandy came to us with her sister, Mandy from a puppy mill situation. She is approximately 4 years old. She is very shy when she first meets people, and while she wants so badly to love, it is taking her time to understand that people can be kind. She is playful and outgoing with the other dogs, thinks cats are great fun to chase, and she is starting to come up to us for love!! She needs a patient, quiet, understanding, home where she will be allowed to come out of her shell on her own time. She and Mandy are VERY bonded to each other and it would be wonderful to find them a home together, if possible. Sandy takes care of Mandy, grooming her and cleaning her ears!

Notes: On the 5th of May, I was very happy to find myself in Thomas Jefferson country. So, my new foster home named me Cinco. I am a true “five-star” dog. Unlike many small dogs, I am not nervous, and I do not bark just for attention. When I bark, you just “give me five.” I would settle for five kisses and/or hugs. My tummy displays an “Omega” tattoo. This simply means that I will be by your side until the end. Just in case you have dogs/cats/children, I love them all. Notes: Oreo is sweeter than the cookie she is named for. She comes jumping right to you as if you were the only one in the room. She will try to nip at your fingers if she isn’t getting all the attention, so older children in the house would be best for her. She loves to snuggle in bed at night down under the covers.
